On December 14, 2005 at 10:00pm, Jacob returned home.
A Celebration of Life was held for Jacob on December 23, 2005, at St. Ann's Church in Kaneohe.
At the end of December, Jacob's ashes were scattered in Kailua Bay and on Maui.

Jake, I think of you daily and was drawn to this site at work today. I find it wonderful that we talk of your life, illness, gifts, strength and lessons that you taught many people. I remember talking with you one night and saying that you were my hero. You said that was funny cause your dad said the same thing the night before. It is never more true than today.
