For those of you connecting with Jacob's page, especially friends from Spain, we wanted to share some photos of our recent trip that reminded us of Jacob's time there and reminded us he was with us every day. We followed most of his itinerary that we found when we discovered his journal from the trip all written in Spanish.

Hey Jake,
Thanks for always being around for Melanie. She notices the little things you do (like close the jewelry box) to remind her of the world we don't see with our eyes.
Sorry we couldn't attend your celebration in person, but we both gave you a shout out from where we were.
It all comes from the same place. |

I have learned so much about you from your friends and family. I think I understand much more than I ever did where you are now...and for that I rejoice. Thank you for being a part of that 'great cloud of witnesses' that is cheering those of us still here on! |

Dearest Jacob,
Ever since you left this earth, your brother and I and some other close friends went to the shore to celebrate you, your love and your life. This year I thought of you as I walked along the cold, sandy beach in Seattle. You touched us all! I told your brother I can't wait to meet you face to face someday my soul friend.
Love, Lindsay |

Jacob, how did you know that we are each divine? You always looked for that in everyone you met. He is within; our holiness is His. Thank you for your goodness. Gently, dad

Aloha Jib, I have two things I want to share. First, a quote from Abe Lincoln that reminded me of you. He said this, " It's not the years in your life that count. It's the life in your years.".
Thank you for being a constant reminder of living and loving everyday.
Secondly, I wanted to share a Cowboy's Fan story with you that your familia in El Paso shared. I knew you'd like it. It is called The Ultimate Cowboy Fan. John Elway, after living a full life, died. When he got to heaven,God was showing him around. They came to a modest house with a faded Broncos flag in the window."This house is yours for eternity,John," God said. "This is very special;not everyone gets a house up here." John felt special, indeed, and walked up to his house. On his way up the porch,he noticed another house just around the corner. It was a 3-story mansion with a Silver and Blue sidewalk,a 50ft.flagpole with an enormous Cowboys logo flag,a Cowboy logo in every window, and a Tony Romo jersey on the front door. John looked at God and said, "God, I'm not trying to be ungrateful but I was an all pro QB,won 2 Superbowls, even went to the Hall of Fame." God said, "So what's your point John?" "Well, why does Tony Romo get a better house than me?" God chuckled, and said "John, that not Tony's house, it's MINE."
Jib, I knew you'd love it, and boy wasn't that a great game they had last weekend!! You and your teams are on a roll!! I love you! LiveAloha. |

Jakey, they was all asking me at the Judd's if the Warriors had the game 'in the bag' with one quarter to go -- I told 'em, "eh, neva mine, Jakey took care of it already" You are a continual inspiration -- so glad I'm cloaked in your aloha. |
