On December 14, 2005 at 10:00pm, Jacob returned home.
A Celebration of Life was held for Jacob on December 23, 2005, at St. Ann's Church in Kaneohe.
At the end of December, Jacob's ashes were scattered in Kailua Bay and on Maui.

Hello there sunshine, Thank you for being with me at court yesterday. I really appreciate your support and your ear for listening. I know I don"t always make the right decisions but I am really working on that. I need to drive more like an old lady, Ha! As you know Logan takes her drivers test tomorrow and boy do we need prayers, she doesn"t drive that much as she ruined two of my wheels so had to replace them all to the tune of $1,300 so i am hesistant in her driving. Jacob, Thank you for watching over me on this great journey in my life. I have had a pet alligator outside of the house I have been renting in Cape Coral,Florida for the last three weeks. I go outside at night to pray and he hs been there ever since May 24th.
