On December 14, 2005 at 10:00pm, Jacob returned home.
A Celebration of Life was held for Jacob on December 23, 2005, at St. Ann's Church in Kaneohe.
At the end of December, Jacob's ashes were scattered in Kailua Bay and on Maui.

Hi Jake -
you know we're waiting anxiously for the birth of Makani! She too will be a bringer of light like her Uncle. Your light gives us the sight to recognize the difference between the what has meaning and what doesn't. When one can see that difference it is so much easier to remebmer that we are sustained by God's eternal love. We can feel His presence within us, strong, unchanging and peaceful.

Dear Family and Friends of Jacob,
What a blessing you had on earth with Jacob. I didn't know him but I know he was so dear to his family. My daughter too is a lover of the ocean and the sea turtles. One time she and her Dad were surfing and found a large sea turtle with ropes and a milk jug wrapped around it so it couldn't go under water. They plopped it up on the board and freed it from the ropes. I can only imagine your pain but I'm so thankful you have the great memories. You know he is so special to our Lord if he is so loved by you. God is always with you. A Friend in Christ |
