On December 14, 2005 at 10:00pm, Jacob returned home.
A Celebration of Life was held for Jacob on December 23, 2005, at St. Ann's Church in Kaneohe.
At the end of December, Jacob's ashes were scattered in Kailua Bay and on Maui.

Dearest Jacob, I find myself reflecting on my childhood quite abit lately. As you know I am back on Oahu, and very close to your home. I came back to be closer to my parents and help your mom out as she has been through so much. I wish you could knock some sense into my parents for them to accept help from me, but grandma seems to not want visitors for too long. So I give them their space as it once got to be a real problem. Today I went over there to drop off my mountain bike. This way I can go over there spend some time and go ride, or walk the beach. Then return to checkl on them. They are not doing too well. It is hard to watch someone age, yet harder to watch someone die. I want to thank you for your love and continued spirit that is over me. Since your passing you have helped me in the fight againsit my drug addiction. i am thankful to be alive, and thankful for my family. Oh we were glad you were at the weddings, weren't they wonderful. I am very greatful for my life and miss you lot's. Keep smiling and shining down on us all. God Bless you very much. Love your Aunty Lisa |

To anyone reading Jacob's page, we have sad news about a turtle being slaughtered at Laniakea. The honu (green sea turtle) was so special to Jacob, this breaks our hearts. We pray that the perpetrator will be brought to justice, and ask that you share with others the urgent need to educate this generation and the next about protecting our environment, our world. We are all connected.
